My clients have ranged in age from 4 to 60+, and while their presenting "problems" have varied, there is always one common denominator: A need for nonjudgmental acceptance and connection. I build relationships with all of my clients from a person-centered stance, meaning that I provide a safe space for them to be themselves, while meeting them with my own, authentic self. Whatever the "issue," I trust there are also a host of strengths from which we can build on.
I primarily support children, adolescents, and parents/adults in navigating relationship and behavior challenges, anxiety, and life transitions. While play therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) are my primary modalities when working with children, I also incorporate CBT, ACT, and mindfulness approaches into my work with all ages.
We all experience fear, grief, shame, longing for meaning, and sustained connection with others.
