My favorite quote is from The Little Prince, "the eyes are blind. One must look with the heart." Often in the midst of our pain and struggle we react to circumstances with little or no thought. We allow ourselves to be directed by the world instead of identifying what we need and know in our heart. To identify what we need, know what our heart wants, and have a plan to follow is what therapy is all about. We must work through the pain to identify these things; accept that we deserve them, and develop a plan to achieve them.
My therapeutic approach values where you are and where you want to be. I have experience working with children, teens, adults, and families through various life struggles and have focused on treating trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, parenting issues, child/adolescent behavioral and mental health issues, and adults going through phase of life issues.
I co-own ThinkWell Counseling Center. We currently have 5 therapists with various areas of specialty. We take private pay, Aetna, Anthem Commercial, CareSource, Medical Mutual, UHC, UMR and BIND. We are located in Centerville Ohio.
