I work with individuals going through a major life transition such as burnout, personal loss, "empty nester syndrome", a career crisis, break-up/divorce, etc. They are surprised how this change has revealed things about themselves that have been too painful to acknowledge until now. Whether it's underlying anxiety or depression symptoms, perfectionism, "people-pleasing", regret, grief, emptiness or shame, they want to learn more about who they are so they can have a more fulfilling relationship with themselves and others.
My therapy style is warm, interactive and collaborative. As we examine your experiences we can be watching for your inner wisdom, strengths and resources to emerge. I view therapy through a relational, trauma-informed lens and use tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
