I love working with people who have come to a place in their lives where they want to make changes. Something is not working and they want to create a life with more joy, freedom, love, and integrity. Many difficulties in current relationships are rooted in patterns established in childhood. In counseling, we look at the ways you learned to relate as a child and how they interfere with experiencing freedom and intimacy today. Engaging in counseling is a courageous move to create a life that connects with the most beautiful parts of your truest self.
I view my clients as being the experts on their own lives and I come alongside them and point out issues they may want to address and support them in making the changes they want to make. Together we find internal resources they can tap into and new pathways to care well for self and others.
