I specialize in trauma treatment, helping clients process and resolve the overwhelming emotions associated with threatening and devaluing experiences; remembered or not. Clients may feel uncomfortable or disconnected from their own body; be stuck in unhelpful or negative patterns; and struggle within relationships. Everyone's story is different, as is their path to resolution. I work to create a safe and supportive environment within which clients may fully express and be themselves. I listen first to help clients connect to their own inner wisdom and find their unique path to healing.
I enjoy a curious and creative approach. allowing therapy sessions to interweave arts-based activities, somatic exercises, narrative work; with EMDR, Flash, CBT/DBT skill-building, and solution-focused approaches; tailored to each client's preferences and needs.
Whether it's a toxic job, an abusive relationship, a divorce, parenting stress, compassion fatigue, or unexpected loss or life change; life can feel overwhelming. There are ways to find acceptance and healing, to reprocess what was once overwhelming, and reconnect with the people and things we care most about.
