I am a seasoned therapist with an easy going approach. I have had my practice, Copper Leaf Counseling LLC for 20 years. I am currently offering sessions via telehealth (video or phone) only. I have found that telehealth sessions are just as effective as “in person” sessions and make sessions easier to fit into clients lives. I enjoy working with teens, adults, couple, families and older adults. I strive to be a compassionate presence to allow individuals to tell their story, a supportive presence to help resolve whatever struggles clients present with. I enjoy working with clients from many different cultures and backgrounds.
I specialize in brief treatment. Most of my practice is with EAP (Employee Assistance Plan) clients. I help client's to identify their goals and move through treatment fairly quickly so they can get back to their everyday lives with new skills and new insights for a better quality life.
Making the initial phone call to schedule an appointment can be very difficult . However, most people start feeling less burdened and more hopeful by the end of the first session and find themselves looking forward to the next one! I welcome your call.
