Hello, my name is Lisa. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years experience working with individuals in all settings. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am dedicated to providing inclusive and affirming care to LGBTQ+ individuals as well as other marginalized communities. I work with those struggling with issues surrounding trauma, adoption, depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, workplace problems and family conflicts. In the years of doing this work, I understand how past issues impact current living and we do not always know how to address this.
My approach to therapy is strength based and person centered, which means my approach is tailored to your specific needs. I use CBT, EFT, DBT, and other forms of therapy to help individuals navigate life's challenges. I foster a safe and supportive environment where you can come and be authentic while healing.
Deciding to come to therapy is one of the biggest decisions a person can make for themselves and their family. Opening up to someone is a strength you do not know you have till it is presented to you.
