I work with Adults of all ages, from 18 to the end of life. I have extensive experience treating couples and families, and have special skills around family adjustment to health crises. I like to work with parents of teens and parents of newborns as well as couples considering children and even coping with aging parents. I work with many individual adults facing normal life stressors as well as more significant issues such as chronic anxiety, and depression.I see Spanish speaking individuals and couples. I have worked with many families of Veterans and other patients with traumatic injuries of all kinds.
I have a straightforward, direct style. I provide people with skills to better adapt to the situations their daily lives present, whatever they are. My areas of primary expertise are trauma and coping, marital therapy, parenting skills and stress management. I also have extensive experience in dementia and neurological illnesses.
I work out of both a home office and a traditional office setting where I see people on Saturday mornings. I enjoy doing treatment over Skype and I-Chat, when people cannot make it in to the office weekly. I work with a number of excellent psychiatrists and other physicians.
