Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to consider my services! My goal is to work collaboratively with clients and reduce negative symptoms while increasing positive emotional well-being and life functioning. I work adolescents and adults who experience a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, self-esteem, life transitions, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. I work with diverse populations, including children and families, adolescents, victims of domestic abuse as well as perpetrators, and people experiencing difficult life transitions such as divorce or death.
I take a strengths-based approach to help clients identify and utilize the skills they already have, and work to learn new ones. I use a variety of methods, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy .
Having worked with youth for a large portion of my career, I am aware that I can create an atmosphere where people feel safe opening up, even if it takes some time. I am non-judgemental because I know I am merely here to help you with whatever is going on, and I can't do that by judging. I would be honored to work with you if you chose to do so!
