I work with teens, young adults, and adults to address a wide range of mental health and emotional issues. I believe in working with the intention to support inner personal growth, the development of imagination, and the integration of spiritual expansion using person-centered and intermodal expressive arts infused counseling and therapeutic creative approaches to optimize mental health and wellness/well-being as well as develop relational and interpersonal skills. With this comes a natural approach to reducing clinical symptoms derived from anxiety, depression, trauma, and daily life stressors.
Expressive Arts is a experiential, co-creative, collaborative process whereby clients take agency of their own process. I am passionate about bringing creativity via the use of metaphor combined with visual art, drama, movement, narrative, poetry, existential, spiritual, somatic, mindfulness, gestalt, reality therapy and family systems approaches.
With a varied toolkit of verbal and expressive therapies, I will meet you where you are with patience and gentle understanding; walking with you as you progress on your journey to where you want to be with faith, hope, self-awareness, self-worth,and resilience.
