I am a clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety disorders (e.g., panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, phobias) and OCD, as well as commonly co-occurring concerns including trauma, mood disturbances, perfectionism, and relationship problems. I work with adults virtually in New York, New Jersey, and all states participating in PSYPACT. I maintain a small caseload of in-person patients in Livingston, NJ, and I am also available to conduct in-home sessions in the NYC metro area.
My approach is flexible, creative, collaborative, and strongly rooted in evidence-based practice. I aim to create a safe environment for clients to explore, experiment, make mistakes, and build agency and insight.
I regard clients as experts on their own experiences, and I attend to the unique social, cultural, familial, and personal contexts that inform these experiences. Seeking help isn't always easy. I strive to make this process straightforward, unintimidating, and maybe (hopefully) even a little fun.
