I specialize in treating substance use disorders, trauma, mood/anxiety, and relational issues. I have spent my career working with adults and adolescents in various treatment settings and have worked with a variety of issues in my private practice. I have been happily employed within the Sharp Healthcare system since 2013, and I currently support the overall wellness of frontline staff at one of our medical hospitals. My previous work through Sharp has been providing trauma-informed care to patients with substance use disorders, severe mental illness, personality disorders, and other phase-of-life issues.
I am Basic Trained in EMDR, an incredible treatment for trauma. I also provide ACT, DBT, and CBT treatment. I provide a balance of compassion and accountability. As I know that therapists are not a one-size-fits-all type of provider, my clients and patients do generally find me very easy to talk to and work with. I know that they feel supported and seen.
