I currently have a waiting list. I wish you well on your journey. My approach to psychotherapy involves "walking with" you on your journey. The journey would include developing increased self awareness and symptom reduction, which would allow for a fuller experience in one's life. One may also experience increased self empathy throughout the journey. I emphasize the importance of each person's unique early and current experiences. Many individuals I have worked with have concerns involving: trauma, attachment, relationships, identity, life transitions, mood, anxiety, dissociative, personality, & reality.
I offer to deepen self understanding from our work. I have a passion for diversity/multiculturalism. My approach is psychodynamic, but can include CBT, ACT, liberation, humanistic, and existentialism. I have worked in in-home, outpatient, and inpatient settings across the lifespan; I completed a geriatric postdoctoral residency. I am in analytic training.
My aim is to cultivate a therapeutic relationship you can trust. This aim comes from a place of genuine interest to understand your true self, what you are looking for, and how to work together. From there, we begin the journey. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds and identities to consider walking with me. I look forward to our first step together.
