No one ever told you it would be this hard. Life, relationships, career, family life, it all looks so easy for some people, but it does not feel that way to you. Instead, every day feels difficult, and you have started to notice that your reactions to small things feel too big. Maybe you're getting angry for seemingly no reason, or you start crying when you normally wouldn't. Perhaps getting out of bed feels too hard, or the constant thoughts are crippling your ability to make decisions or move forward. Worse still, you feel numb. You want to regain control and really live, but you don't know how.
I specialize in talk therapy for adults dealing with depression and anxiety. I dive deeply with my clients into the waters of childhood, relationships, and family patterns to find their innate strengths. Together, we rise from the depths with a new way of seeing the world around us and an ability to breathe more freely.
My own experiences with depression and anxiety led me to becoming a therapist, and now I want nothing more than to ease the suffering of others. I know that meeting a new therapist is a leap of faith. It is not easy, but I have no doubt you have done harder things. Email or call to get started.
