We'll talk about how the stress of these issues and problems have affected both of you individually and as a couple and we'll develop new and more effective ways to reduce conflict and increase empathy, acceptance, respect, and connection.
To achieve these goals, I teach communication skills helping speaker and listener express thoughts and feelings, so they feel seen, heard, and understood during a discussion. Improving communication reduces fighting and defensiveness and increases the opportunity for problem solving solutions and successfully achieving your goals for Couples Therapy.
