My ideal client would be a woman who lives in the San Fernando Valley that is going through a major transition, like a divorce, career issues or recent losses. I have always been interested in women’s issues. I have done some exploration internationally regarding these issues. I find it fascinating to share with other cultures the different sociocultural influences that make us who we are.
My specialty is helping to support people who are passing through difficult and painful transitions whether it be individually or in relationships. I do a lot of strengths based work and help people to change their negative cognitions as well as to learn to have compassion for themselves.
I have a breadth of experience working in the psychiatric department of a hospital dealing with depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress. I have experience working with criminal offenders and with people in recovery.
