For those with alcohol use disorder, I use the principles of evidence-based alcohol sobriety and moderation techniques with or without medication. Clients will learn to moderate their alcohol use to achieve life-long moderation or learn how to achieve sobriety if they choose. For those struggling with substances other than alcohol, I offer CBT, DBT and MI to assist in achieving sobriety. This is your journey and your choices, and my coaching/counseling style is to meet you where you are at, motivate you and help you find long-term solutions for substance abuse.
I have worked in the behavior and addiction field for over fifteen years and hold a master’s degree in Addiction Counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in New Jersey and Texas for those seeking recovery through alcohol moderation or sobriety. I also offer sober and moderation coaching for those not in NJ and TX.
Purpose, passion, and connection are almost always lost in substance abuse and can be found again with simple interventions. I work with all demographics and have specialized in young adults, women, and parents struggling with substance abuse issues.
