I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes that every person deserves to find joy in their authentic selves. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults in all life stages. I have experience working with trauma, LGBTQIA+ issues, depression, anxiety, and substance use. I use a holistic approach using evidenced-based treatment strategies like CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy. I have enjoyed working with diverse populations throughout my career. Life is hard and I am ready to sit with you in the muck of life as we work together to help you learn skills and gain confidence so you can live into your most authentic life.
I have a wide base of knowledge from my career so far from depression and anxiety to trauma and substance use. I enjoy working with clients who are going through significant life changes from leaving for college to having an empty nest. I also am passionate about working with trauma and using Trauma Focused CBT in my practice.
My goal is to help destigmatize getting help for mental health by providing a supportive place to unpack life's struggles and start healing. Life is hard enough on our own and I want to encourage you to allow me to help by giving you a safe place to process with no judgement. If you are looking for a reason to start therapy I encourage you to reach out today
