Therapy is a collaborative process. I strive to create a warm and supportive therapeutic environment where one can feel safe to explore issues and concerns that impact on one's wellbeing. As a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience, I have come to appreciate that psychotherapy works because of the unique relationship that develops between the therapist and client. During the course of my career, in addition to my private practice, I worked in hospitals and mental health clinic settings.
I have training in psychodrama, Gestalt Therapy and trauma-focused therapy. I am experienced in working with the LGBTQ population, Jewish issues, women's issues, health concerns, aging, life changes, anxiety, relationship discord, PTSD and depression.
I am looking forward to meeting with you. Therapy can help you gain new insight, get rid of some self-imposed stumbling blocks, learn coping strategies and add to the skills and insights you may already possess. If you are a social worker seeking supervision, feel free to call or email me.
