The gift of therapy is that it is a safe place for self-exploration and self-expression. I believe in the possibility of healing and that individuals have answers within. Therapy is a tool that can help one find meaning. I enjoy taking this journey with my clients and it is my goal to support others in their growth and expansion. I aim to utilize the creativity and imagination of my clients so that they have a fulfilling experience. I am open to incorporating various traditions and spiritual philosophies. I have a background in health and wellness education and promotion which benefits my clients on their path to wellness.
I have an eclectic approach that incorporates an existential orientation at its foundation. It is my desire to help others uncover their own answers to some of the deepest questions we ask as humans: why am I here and what is my purpose? I have also worked for many years in mental health using cognitive behavioral techniques with youth and adults.
First and foremost, a positive therapy experience begins with a good fit between client and counselor. I am happy to consult with you briefly by email or phone to answer questions or concerns.
