I have over 25 years experience as a Mental Health Clinician. People come to me from all backgrounds and walks of life. I love to work with a variety of clients who are willing to be challenged and see other perspectives on their lives, their mental health, their way of living. At this point in my focus is on Veterans and Older Adults. I believe people benefit from in person contact so I prefer in person sessions and have two ongoing Groups that work with Art and Nature Therapy. My pug Freyja provides Canine Therapy to clients and staff. I can see clients who are Teens and up.
I help heal people with specialized client centered treatment based on what they bring. I believe that anyone who shows up in my office is meant to be here. I am delighted when folks have a spiritual bent because I believe that we both learn from every relationship. I believe that healing comes quickly when a client is ready.

For people with a trauma history, this group is centered around exploring what we create from the heart about our experience. We use SoulCollage® technique to create 4x6" cards that reflect our internal experience and give us insight. We also have other clinicians that do Art Therapy if Sibelia is unavailable.

Nature Therapy
Nature Therapy at Buddy Todd Park in Oceanside. Spent a 1.5-2 hours in nature doing activities that bring relief to depression and/or anxiety. Connect and commune with the natural world. Mindfulness in nature. Evidence based practices include Forest Bathing, Earth Grounding.
