Most people come to therapy to eliminate the pain they are experiencing or "to not feel crazy," and "to have someone to talk without bias". These are the statements client's have shared with me over the years. My passion provides me the opportunity to hear, normalize and enjoy the work I do.
It has been said to me that I bring "joy" into the sessions. As I sit, listen, hear and laugh in the most difficult times in peoples life, we share new moments of acceptance, peace and truth. Forgiveness, kindness and normalcy are three concepts I invite clients to explore.
Caring is sharing when giving back to those who are in need of grace and support as I once was. Helping others along the way, is a way for me to thank those who encouraged me to never give up. These principals are what I live and practice by. They are in the room where we sit and experience life.
