I have been a licensed social worker since 1998 and have 17 years experience in the school setting, two years in a counseling agency and 7 years in private practice. I have gained considerable experience in family relationships pertaining to divorce and blended families.
My style is empathic and compassionate. My approach to therapy is eclectic, drawing from a variety of treatment models including Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Strength's Based as well as several others, depending on the complexity of the issue. My background spans working with children, adolescents and adults in individual counseling and school social work.
