While caring for children as a pediatrician, I developed a passion for supporting parents as they navigate their new life as a family. Although this is often a time of great joy, sometimes it can be complicated by unexpected mental health challenges. After having my own children, I understood this on a personal level, experiencing severe postpartum depression and postpartum obsessive-compulsive disorder. There was very little support or understanding all those years ago, and I became a more vocal advocate for maternal mental health after that experience.

I am a certified perinatal mental health practitioner. My approach to care is holistic, considering your mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to empower you to improve your life however you decide. I specialize in perinatal depression & anxiety disorders, pregnancy loss, and young children who have experienced stressful experiences.

Whether it is talking about challenges as a new mom, disappointment in your birthing experience, feelings of depression or anxiety, or grief after the loss of a child, there is hope.
