My name is, Liana Deroian and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 88009). I am intrigued by the human mind and our capacity to enrich our lives through the power of Psychology. I have spent the last 14 years in various environments exploring the capabilities that mankind has and influencing change within individuals and organizations. I enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories, and leaving footprints or planting seeds in the lives of those, who my path crosses.
I believe in treating a person holistically. There is power in knowledge, which is why I incorporate psychoeducation to all clients, to help label the concerns, and tackle those concerns head-on by outlining treatment goals. I use a wide array of therapies ranging from CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, and anything in between.
I work with clients to identify areas needing improvement and set realistic attainable goals. Goal setting is a partnership between clients and my expertise. Clients can expect a space to share what brings them to therapy, identify what they are hoping to gain from treatment, and hear from me what I'm able to provide along the way to accomplish those goals.
