Lia meets clients where they are on their journey as they encounter crisis, stress, burnout, trauma response, racial trauma, partner relational issues, caregiver/child relational issues, life transitions, depression, anxiety, worry, grief and loss. Lia has been a licensed clinical social worker for over 17 years and has been working in the field of counseling and mental health for 21 years. Lia has a Masters Degree in Social Work from IUPUI. She has advanced training in CBT, ACT, and DBT, and is certified in Crisis Intervention Response and Critical Incident Stress Management.
Lia has worked in schools, hospitals, Emergency Departments, outpatient clinics, and in EAP services. She has experience providing various levels of counseling and therapeutic support to adults ages 18-65. Lia works with individuals, families, couples, and groups.
