I enjoy working with teens and adults to help explore and identify and resolve issues related to worry, tension, feeling overwhelmed or on edge, stress, grief, loss, relationships, work, school, feeling hopeless, helpless, anger, behavior, guilt, sleep, low energy and concentration.
I am of Japanese and Caucasian ethnicity and use a multicultural and spiritual framework. I have been practicing Yoga and Meditation for over 20 years. My approach is a supportive one, based on listening, understanding and respect. I also draw upon many therapeutic approaches including Mindfulness and Internal Family Systems.
I work with clients collaboratively using humor, warmth and compassion to support a client to increase awareness of their conditioned behaviors and tendencies that may not serve them any longer. I help clients to rediscover themselves and feel home again.
