We’re living in a tough time. It’s easy to feel hopeless, isolated, alienated, and overwhelmed. I believe that we’ll make it—through community, through supporting each other, and through radical acts of kindness for each other and ourselves. Taking care of our minds now so that we can be our best selves for each other is essential. I’m looking forward to continuing to use my skills in listening, compassion, warmth, humor, and pathfinding to help untangle our mental knots. I work with adults and primarily focus on working with LGBTQ individuals.
I am a queer, transgender masc person with ADHD. I’m working towards my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler Graduate School. In the past I’ve worked in the nonprofit world, with folks experiencing homelessness, LGBTQ folks, and individuals and their companion animals.
I am interested in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, family history, grief and loss, companion animals, and the questions of life, purpose, and meaning. I am interested in recognizing and working with the ways in which society and our class, ability, gender, sexuality, and other intersecting identities impact our lives and our health.
