My ideal client wants to be an active player in his or her own treatment. They want a therapist who will not only be there for them, but who will also give them the tools they need to proactively change their lives for the better. I'm here to change lives, not just be a sounding board. All clients are deserving of respect and unconditional positive regard, but there comes a time when you are going to take action, or stay stuck in the muck that brought you to therapy to begin with. I am an LCSW, licensed in the state of Florida with over 9 years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I specialize in EMDR, and I have worked with clients ranging from children as young as age 5, to late adulthood that suffer from a wide array of concerns: Anxiety, ADHD, addiction, Bipolar I and II, comorbid disorders, depression, PTSD and trauma.
We're all on this crazy journey called life together, and nobody gave us a roadmap. Of course there are going to be twists and turns and bumps in the road along the way.
