Sometimes anxiety becomes overwhelming for adults, and it becomes just as overwhelming for children. Youth do not often understand anxiety symptoms, until someone explains what they may be experiencing. it is my goal to help children move through anxiety, and help with underlining reasons they may be experiencing stress and worry. My primary clientele are children and youth, ages 5 through 18, who are experiencing anxiety, primarily Generalized Anxiety disorder, and Obsessive Compulsive disorder symptoms.
I have experience working with children in some capacity for over 20 years. Previous experience within the school system working with children dealing with anxiety and depression disorders.
I welcome those children and youth who are experiencing anxiety symptoms. Sometimes stress and worry can hit us in so many ways, and we may not be aware that the symptoms we are experiencing are anxiety (even stomach aches, and headaches)! I would love to meet you, and help you recognize anxiety triggers, as well as work on solutions to reduce symptoms.
