Leslie strives on developing trust & creating an atmosphere where clients are able to share their innermost thoughts and feelings in a non-judgemental setting. She will listen intently and help you work toward the goals you want to accomplish. Leslie uses an integrative counseling approach incorporating counseling techniques that work best for each individual client. She believes the ultimate purpose of counseling is to build a trusting relationship with clients to help them overcome their past and work through current challenges, to find true meaning and purpose in their lives.
Leslie has been a counselor/educator for 28 years in Texas. She has extensive experience counseling individuals with depression, anxiety, ADHD, self harm, grief, and suicidal ideation. She is a trained EMDR therapist, certified to provide trauma- based therapy.
When she is not counseling Leslie can be found with her husband cheering for their 13 year old daughter at her volleyball and softball games, running, or reading with a cup of coffee and her beagle, Daisy.
