Hello! I'm Leslie Shadrick and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As a therapist, I am committed to helping you work towards a place of healing while providing a safe and supportive environment allowing you to process your thoughts and feelings. I have worked in the mental health field for over 17 years. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, emerging adults, and adults in a variety of populations such as Elementary and High schools, Group Homes, Correctional Facilities, and Non-Profits.
My therapeutic approaches includes Person Centered allowing you to set your course of treatment. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) it's one effective treatment for a variety of concerns and symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and trauma. Solution-focused is also another helpful technique when there are specific problems.
It helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than focusing only on problems. It's helpful with sustaining a desired behavioral change. And I know there may be times when you just need a safe space to just talk and process and I'm here for that as well.
