I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience. I work with people who are struggling with a variety of problems including anxiety, depression, low self-worth, relational difficulties and trauma. I also treat individuals who want to get to know themselves better. If you and I decide to work together, I will guide you through the process of psychotherapy. I want to get to know you through careful and active listening, adding humor when useful to our dialogue. Talking about your difficulties, speaking aloud what may be challenging to say, this is how you can feel more open to new possibilities.
As you begin to speak freely, in ways you have never been encouraged to speak before, you begin to open up to yourself, your psychotherapist and eventually opportunities in your life. My job is to pay careful attention to your thoughts and expressions. I will help relate to yourself with less judgment. Opening up space for you to experience more freedom.
