I work primarily with adults who have anxiety and depression and want to develop new skills for dealing with these issues. Clients who want to change unhealthy behavior, increase confidence, inner-peace and wellbeing. Therapy can be short-term, focusing on a specific issue or long-term, focusing on more difficult issues or ongoing personal growth.
Counseling services also offered include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, grief and bereavement work, professional life coaching, anger and stress management, work and career issues, adoption and infertility issues and pre-marriage and pre-adoption counseling. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 22 years in the field of social work and counseling.
Every session is unique and tailored to each client and their individual needs and goals. A typical session last 50 minutes and can be scheduled on a weekly or monthly basis. It is not uncommon for individuals who are going through a particularly difficult time to request longer sessions or more than one session per week.
