With over 13 years’ experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I enjoy having the opportunity to help people make significant changes in their lives. Something unique about my practice is that I offer traditional counseling as well as a short-term therapy option called Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.), which targets specific symptoms in just 1 to 5 sessions. A.R.T. is a powerful research-backed therapy that has garnered numerous testimonials from satisfied clients.
I was fortunate enough to receive my Accelerated Resolution Therapy training and certification from Master A.R.T. therapist and National Lead Trainer Amy Shuman. During my training, I experienced firsthand the impressive power of the mind and its ability to heal itself from trauma, grief, phobias, anxiety, and more.
Similar to well-known psychologist Carl Rogers, I use a client-centered approach, meaning you are the expert on what is best for you. My goal as therapist is to assist with removing the obstacles (whether seen or unseen) to growth. I have found that this approach fosters the personal growth and self-confidence needed to provide long-lasting results.
