My name is Leslie Amos, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. My approach to therapy is non-judgmental, relational, client-centered and holistic. This means that I meet you where you are right now and respect the unique path you have walked. I wholeheartedly believe that you have answers within yourself and through the process of therapy, my goal is to support you in connecting with your own inner wisdom. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults with a variety of issues and concerns.
I particularly enjoy working with issues including anxiety, depression, social anxiety, highly sensitive people/empaths, chronic people-pleasers, low self-esteem, perfectionism, childhood trauma, grief, life transitions, identity confusion, and work or school related stressors.
My approach in sessions is to create a safe and comfortable space for you to share your thoughts and feelings. My communication is warm, open and non-judgmental. I provide guidance or may challenge you when appropriate, but I ultimately view you as being in the driver's seat of your own life.
