My name is Leslie Libutti, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California. I spent many years as a hospice social worker and learned not only about grief and loss but also about life and resilience. My approach is holistic, and I believe our minds, bodies, and spirits provide a lot of untapped resources which are available to improve our daily lives. I am confident that I can help you access these resources in a safe space.
As an eclectic therapist, I like to combine various therapeutic approaches depending on your needs and goals. CBT, humanistic, existential, psychodynamic, and heart-centered therapies are some of my GO-TOs! My approach is not static-if you are motivated and up for a team approach then we will work together in wonderful ways.
My sessions are relaxed but can be intense when the time comes. It may feel like you are talking with your sister, best friend, or parent, but without the judgment and history! I am a very active listener and believe in the importance of compassion and curiosity.
