As a first-generation Spanish-speaking Mexican American I bring understanding to the struggle that comes with navigating generational trauma and cultural and sexual identity. I provide trauma informed care and utilize EMDR, CBT/TF-CBT and Seeking Safety therapeutic modalities in addition to mindfulness, narrative and affirmative therapy techniques. I have extensive experience working in a community mental health setting and with a wide range of diverse individuals.
