You've never had a safe space to explore your identity in a way that allows you to bring ALL of your "stuff" to the table. Constantly analyzing your physical and emotional safety to do so has made it too exhausting to get to that next level even when you're finally able to determine it's safe. I am a LGBTQIA+ and relationship affirming therapist. As a queer, transmasculine nonbinary person, I am able to bring the unique combination of lived experience and clinical skills into the room, if you are open to that. I see the therapeutic process as a place for increasing freedom and cultivating liberation that is both individual and collective.
I also bring my experience as a theater maker and educator to the therapeutic relationship, with a strong belief in the power of personal story in the process of creating change. Let's connect with one another and with our history to support individual healing and collective liberation! This group will allow us to connect through our shared and divergent experiences, and explore strategies for self-care and community care as resilient practices. Join Leigh Hendrix (they/he), trans clinician and trans history nerd, for an 8-week group for trans and non-binary adults (ages 18+).
