Whether you suffer from anxiety, depression, low self-worth, etc., I believe there is almost always an underlying trauma that must be fully addressed before healing can occur. These traumas can be overt, such as abuse or neglect, or more insidious, such as a disparaging comment made by a parent or a peer. These traumas, whether “Big T” or “Little t,” are the reason we have the “voice in our head”—our inner critic who tells us that we aren’t good enough, worthy enough, etc. The work I do—which is a combination of Attachment Therapy, Ego State Therapy, and EMDR Therapy, helps to transform our negative inner critic once and for all.
While traditional talk therapy is akin to mowing the grass, attachment/trauma work is more like pulling out the root. What I most want people to know is that our negative inner voice is a lie; that due to trauma, we adopt self-limiting beliefs as the truth without ever being given the opportunity to examine whether these beliefs are indeed the truth.
The answers that we seek are always contained within us. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for you to access this inner knowing—and to realize and integrate your inherent truth and worthiness.
