Therapy is about you, and the therapeutic relationship is everything to me. When it comes to therapy, I believe it is very important that the client and therapist develop a good therapeutic relationship, so that they can work well together and establish client-based needs and goals. Everybody’s journey is so very individual, and I will work with you on what you need, and we will go at your pace. We will work together as a team to make sure you are getting what you need out of therapy, and that you are walking away feeling a little bit better than when you came in.
My approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I have extensive training in CBT through my second Master’s at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. CBT examines your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how they are all connected and influence each other. It looks to identify and challenge any inaccurate or distorted thought patterns.
Life can be difficult…I know. I know that life can be so very difficult at times. I have experienced extreme loss and hurt. I am new to the Philadelphia Area and still adjusting!
