I have been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker since 2009, practicing in the field of mental health since 2007. I love to see people achieve their goals and see my work as being a fellow traveler on the path with them. I find that so many are coping with anxiety, depression and trauma, and I am experienced in helping people to develop skills to cope more effectively and peacefully with the curve balls that life can throw in order to live happier, healthier lives.
I am experienced in helping people recover from traumatic experiences using Cognitive Processing Therapy. This is an evidence-based practice which has helped many reduce their symptom dramatically and improve their ability to manage and enjoy life again. I am well-versed in the skills from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and see them as tools for living.
