I aim to create a space where you can feel empowered to grow through adversity. I am a licensed psychologist with a client-centered, culturally aware, and trauma-informed approach. In sessions, we will explore ways to make meaning of difficult circumstances and overcome barriers to a fulfilling life. I have worked extensively with survivors of trauma, including childhood abuse, military combat, and sex trafficking. I also work with clients who are adjusting to changes in their lifestyles due to injury or illness. My areas of specialization include trauma, chronic pain, and holistic health. I also offer immigration evaluations.
My theoretical orientation is integrative and relies primarily on Relational-Cultural Theory (RCT). I am trained in several evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP). I am also a registered yoga instructor (RYT-200).
