I am a licensed professional counselor and art therapist at Grow Well Cleveland. I have experience working with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, life adjustments/transitions, effects from trauma, ADHD, chronic pain, and relationship challenges. I utilize an eclectic and person-centered approach to treatment which may include art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and EMDR.
EMDR therapy (eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing) is an evidenced based modality used to treat many challenges. EMDR helps the brain digest traumatic experiences leading to an increased sense of control over feelings, thoughts and behaviors.
