My passion is helping teens and young adults develop the skills to live a fulfilling and happy life. I enjoy helping individuals learn to change the way they think about distressing situations and find healthy ways to cope with difficult emotions. My clients often struggle with feelings of anxiety and depression as well as low self-esteem. I also help many clients adjust to various life stressors, such as adolescents of divorced parents or young adults learning how to navigate life in college.
In our sessions, we will work together towards mutually identified goals. It is important that my clients feel comfortable during our time together, because the more open a person is, the better I am able to help. When working with minors, I invite parents to join a portion of our sessions to understand how they can best support their children.
Reaching out for help is not easy. It can be scary opening up to a stranger about personal challenges. I strive to create a caring and trusting environment that leaves you feeling comfortable with being vulnerable. I look forward to helping you achieve your mental health goals!
