I have been working with adults and adolescents, individually and in groups, for over 18 years. Along the way I have been inspired and honored to help facilitate hope and change with many people. I have worked in the fields of parenting, trauma recovery, addictions, and personal power and wellness. I have partnered with clients to help manage stress, anxiety, depression and relationship struggles. It is my intention to bring hope, kindness and information in a safe and comfortable space. In my work with people recovering from trauma or dealing with anxiety or stress I utilize a variety of coping and relaxation techniques; including
Working with addictions I have a strong knowledge of 12 step recovery and alternate approaches. I am certified with EMDR, an effective treatment for trauma. I have a Holistic Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
I am a Certified Tai Chi Chih instructor and very much enjoy the practice. Tai Chi Chih is a moving meditation that is easy to learn and can be calming and energizing with all types of benefits.
