Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Licensed/Registered/Board Certified Art Therapist based in New Jersey. I received a Masters in Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy from Caldwell University. I have 14 years of experience as a clinician working across several settings and with various populations. I believe in forming a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship to make clients feel comfortable and confident so that they can work towards their goals successfully. I particularly like to use creative interventions to help with this process.
In our first session, we will go over some basic information to get to know each other and ensure that you feel comfortable. We will work together to organize concerns to develop goals for therapy and discuss your preferences for interventions moving forward.
Having worked with individuals with a wide range of obstacles to overcome, I have developed effective methods of making clients feel calm, confident, and empowered regardless of their current struggles. This process of grounding and establishing self-worth is critical in setting the stage for effective therapy.
