I have a very holistic approach to psychotherapy and feel that each therapeutic relationship is unique and needs to be both broad and individualized. I help teens, and adults make sense of the complexity of a struggle or experience so that they can harness their strengths and feel empowered and supported to create a meaningful change in themselves and their relationships. I provide parent guidance for children of all ages to help parents make sense of complex childhood struggles and how best to understand and support their child's unique development.
I help people make sense of the biological, psychological, social, and systemic pieces that intertwine to create and fuel struggles. This enables us to together build holistic and comprehensive solutions that allow people to become their best selves and find meaning and value in their experiences. This process can involve many different modalities.
Humanity involves suffering. Whether through loss, developmental crisis, trauma, relationship struggles, or specific mental health concerns, I work to build safe trusting relationships that enable people to build the awareness and skills to better manage internal and external challenges as well as work toward a deeper understanding and resolution.
