Everyone encounters times when they can use help managing life’s challenges. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy to help children, adolescents, and adults learn what strategies are most effective for them. I have helped Long Island families for over 15 years manage issues ranging from AD/HD, anxiety, behavioral problems, depression, school issues, and Autism.
About: Dr. Chorney graduated with bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and Educational Studies from Emory University, and went on the achieve her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from St. John’s University. She trained at Stony Brook University, Jamaica Hospital, and LIJ-Zucker Hillside Hospital, part of the North Shore-LIJ Health Care System.
