Lauren has experience working with a diverse group of people in inpatient settings including newborns and families, children, adults, and those at end of life. She has a special interest in people experiencing chronic illness, grief and loss, medical professional burn out, perinatal and postpartum depression, and the special needs population.
Lauren is originally from the state of Michigan and moved to North Carolina in 2018. She has an undergraduate degree in Social Work from Cornerstone University and a Master’s in Social Work from Western Michigan University with a focus on individuals and families.
